Better handle restricted permissions.
    
    Completely ignore anything that isn't at least group readable.  There is
    no point in listing files that nobody can transfer.
    
    Mark files/dirs which are group-readable but not world-readable by
    appending '-' to the file type.  These indicate content which is
    accessible to tier-1 mirrors only.
