We continue to have issues with building anything besides docker images for the Modular Server. As a result, I would like to build a compose with the modules separately from the base image. We think this can accomplish two goals: a) not introduce more variables and impede the progress on the base components b) allow us to work on the application modules independently (we can get pretty far with just a docker image).
I have created new:
for both master and f27 (with rawhide swapped with f27 as appropriate). I am going to submit the PRs and update this ticket with them.

Went with @ausil 's bikeshed repo for this. We are ready to add the modules to the main compose. So, I am closing this, then I am going to submit a new PR/issue for the main modular compose.
