Hello,

I've cloned https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/fedora-release to https://src.fedoraproject.org/fork/adelton/rpms/fedora-release. Attempt to fetch that fork fails with

$ git fetch adelton
fatal: remote error: FATAL: R any fork/adelton/rpms/fedora-release anonymous DENIED by fallthru
(or you mis-spelled the reponame)

After forking, the WebUI showed a message that permission refresh might take a while ... but is two+ hours expected?

I'm stupid, I was using https: instead of ssh:. Sorry about the noise.

Well, git clone via https should work. If it doesn't open a fedora-infrastructure ticket.
