In Pagure git master (9592dbd), the rendering of a deleted file is somewhat odd, as it thinks that "the diff is too big".
On top of it, with this remote PR, it prints the file link and then the message about not being able to link to the file in the "diff area".

@ngompa can you check this one again on current master? i suspect these issues are now resolved.
The rendering is better with Pagure git b35246b:
