As a developer, when I set the "Closed as" field from unset to one of the settings, I would like the "Status" field to automatically go from "Open" to "Closed".
Invariably, that is the next step, and doing it manually every time is annoying :)

If it is implemented, it is not reflected in the UI. The drop-down stays as "Open". I would expect to see it change to "Closed".
