I wonder of there is a way for Pagure to detect that this is happening and either raise an alert or mitigate it?

It seems to pop up every now and then, but I haven't seen it much lately

Patrick did some cleaning up on the SSE server allowing to reduce the issues we had with it (too many connections for one).

Let's close this and re-open if it happens again.
