The priority list in the projects' settings seems to be randomly sorted.
The order of the priorities is the one set by the person who creates the priority list, so I cannot see what made you think they are randomly sorted.

I'm going to disagree with that last statement.
And I would ask you how you created this list of priorities :)
I went to the Project settings, clicked Add Priority, added "1\tBlocker", clicked it again, added "2\tCritical", ...., and then hit the Save button. I reproduced this twice for two different projects.
And a test for this issue is in #1894
I clicked "Default priority set" and then Update.

Hm, is this still happening? I looks like since 3a9d23e the keys are sorted in the template and thus the order should be consitent.
This seems to be fixed for me.
