You will be able to push the tickets git repo without this but, the pagure db won't be updated. This plugin picks up the changes in git repo and updates the database.

This is the default behaviour, but you can choose where you want the repository to be clone by defining one of the following env variable (TMPDIR, TEMP or TMP)
