#26 confused pgimport fedorahosted output
Closed: Fixed 7 years ago Opened 7 years ago by pnemade.

When I tried this command

[parag@f24 pagure-importer]$ pgimport fedorahosted https://fedorahosted.org/inscript2
Enter you FAS Username: pnemade
Enter your FAS password:

Repo available

No ticket repository found. Use pgimport clone command
[parag@f24 pagure-importer]$

Why can't this command run pgimport clone also? I am confused here what exact mean by clone here, clone to where?

The idea is you clone your ticket repo from pagure to your local instance using pgimport clone first. The command will clone a repo to your /tmp directory. Then you need to run pgimport fedorahosted command to get the tickets to your local git repo and make commits in them. After that, you will need to push the repo back using pgimport push /tmp/thegitreponame.git. Note that, before pushing back, you should have Pagure Ticket plugin. The steps are there in the Usage section of the project's overview page.

Thanks for this information but wanted to see some automated way where I just give "fedorahosted" and "project URL" and it will create same name on pagure.

Thanks for the Clone information, i will check on it. You can close this ticket as I got some explanation on Clone usage.
