#516 Bundling exception for Thymeleaf
Closed: Fixed None Opened 9 years ago by gil.

I would like to request permission to bundle forked code from xhtml1-dtds in thymeleaf package [1].

Thymeleaf contains multiple files (e.g. xhtml-lat1.ent, xhtml-special.ent, xhtml-symbol.ent) forked from xhtml1-dtds (packaged in Fedora).
This file is included in Thymeleaf source repository and maintained as part of the project.
Since the file was forked, Thymeleaf upstream implemented a few features,
removed some cruft and reformatted source.

Without these DTDs file Thymeleaf dont work properly [2].

I think this is a trivial yes, but I'll make sure.

We discussed this at today's meeting (http://meetbot.fedoraproject.org/fedora-meeting-1/2015-03-26/fpc.2015-03-26-16.00.txt):

  • ACTION: Bundling altered DTDs is fine, assuming the license allows
    it (+1:6, 0:0, -1:0) (geppetto, 16:45:54)
