Creating new ticket regarding bundled library in Zikula.
FESCo granted this exception, but the exception was limited to 1.2.x and per upstream's promise to solve this problem by 1.3 the above ticket which was tracking this issue, and now moving to this trac instance.
Read the fesco ticket and just clarifying here.
Fedora is still shipping 1.2.x so the exception is still in place. I don't see a reason to revisit this until zikula-1.3.x is released or if it drags on extra long. Shall we set F15 release as sufficiently far in the future to revisit if 1.3.x is not yet out?
