#228 Minor change in PHP Guidelines
Closed: Fixed None Opened 6 years ago by remi.

In https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:PHP#PEAR_Modules

Can you please add the new macro (the metadata have been relocated from /usr/share/pear to /var/lib/pear to be FHS compliant)

%{pear_metadir} metadata directory, defined since fedora 19 (use %{pear_phpdir} as default value in older version)

I haven't write any draft as this is a single line.

Add %{pear_metadir} definition, along with example of usage:

"Be sure you delete any PEAR metadata files at the end of %install: rm -rf %{buildroot}/%{pear_metadir}/.??* "

Also remove reference to FC5 while in there.

(+1:8, 0:0, -1:0)

(note to spot, I already committed this change, just announce it).

Announce text:

The PEAR section of the PHP Guidelines has been updated to reflect the existence of a new macro, %{pear_metadir}, along with an example of how it is to be used, and a new EPEL specific section relating to the fact that %{pear_metadir} does not exist in RHEL php builds.
