Have been members of the packager group for at least one release cycle (generally six months) so that they have seen the process of branching for a new release.
Davide has been acting as a de facto sponsor for several contributors at work already, is also on the CentOS Board and chairs their Hyperscale SIG, and is active in the EPEL and ELN groups.

He is taking a shortcut with rust and golang reviews, but there are other good reviews. So +1 from me.
yeah, that feels common for reviews of packages whose creation are mostly automated. That's another topic of conversation - these reviews are probably OK to streamline, but we have no formal policy on that. I should have filtered golang and rust reviews out :)
It's been 11 days - the documentation is a bit vague on who's supposed to make @dcavalca a sponsor now, so I looked around in the account system and apparently it needs an infra ticket.
