ODCS generates "nightly" composes with the "n" compose type by default. This is confusing because these are not generated once per night. This makes ODCS hard to understand for new users.
IMHO it would be clearer to use the "ci" compose type by default.
It is also strange to look in http://odcs.engineering.redhat.com/composes/odcs-364700-1-20200519.n.0/work/global/composeinfo-base.json and see "type": "test".
"type": "test"
Yes, the directory name doesn't really match the compose. Latest version of ODCS uses a different schema where the compose directories are named simply odcs-$id (with numerical IDs).
odcs-$id
The default type is now set to test, and for raw config composes (which are really the only one where it matters) it's possible to override it.
