With PRUNE_BIND_MOUNTS=yes, updatedb will not access any btrfs subvolumes (such as /home on my systems). Changing PRUNE_BIND_MOUNTS=no will index the files on subvolumes. I do use bind mounts, and I don't want the files on bind mounts indexed a second time, but I do want files on btrfs subvolumes indexed.
