In reference to Design ticket https://pagure.io/design/issue/623, I'd like to get some T-shirts designed and T-shirts printed. The Design team suggested me submit a Mindshare Ticket.

SCALE 2019 is scheduled for March 2019. LinuxFestNW 2019 is scheduled for April. I'm thinking 100 T-Shirts to be designed, printed and delivered for in time for SCALE and LinuxFest.

Linux Fest NW will be themed around the history of Linux and OpenSource this year.

With the anniversary of Red Hat and Fedora still in our minds, I think our Fedora fans would love to have t-shirts in commemoration. I'm not sure how much t-shirts are to print. And I am depending on the Design Team to be creative.

I haven't seen a SCALE ticket come through yet. Can you tell me what you are planning to include for that ticket? I'd like to know how we plan to use the 100 shirts across the two conferences? Is it purely "fan service" or is there more here?

I don't think t-shirts are a good use of our budget as general swag. I like how we made t-shirts for the 10th anniversary to reward contributors, but I don't think we make much impact by merely giving away t-shirts at conferences. Plus, t-shirts are difficult, since we have to maintain a stock of various sizes.

@steelaworkn thanks for your understanding. We have some swag already printed we can use at events while the logo settles itself out.
