In order to move forward with the next election, we need to determine which mandatory questions the Mindshare committee would like to have asked of candidates.
We need the Mindshare committee to please identify the questions before 2021-11-17 so we can properly communicate them to candidates and so they enough time to answer them.
In case the selection is not complete by 17 November, the Election wrangler will use the same set of questions as the last election cycle:
Some additional questions are listed in the wiki, or you may come up with new ones.
Hi @bcotton thank you for opening this and stewarding this process! The Mindshare Committee discussed this in their weekly meeting and we would like the new and improved question lineup to be:
Great, I'll get those setup. Thanks!

The early Mindshare Committee meeting happened and we have a question to add on. This is the new and improved lineup:
+1 I'm okay with final lineup.
Is this final now or should I wait?
@bcotton this is still under discussion, will ping you here when its all set :) thanks for checking in
How would you improve Mindshare Committee visibility and awareness in the Fedora community?
In my opinion, this question is too specific for the election questionnaire. The next question is already asking what Mindshare should address, so is visibility and awareness something that we agreed to improve? But then there should be a ticket, which there isn't. Therefore, it seems odd to ask about something of possible new members that is not even an ongoing ticket. Since there are already not enough candidates for Mindshare, it would be nice to reduce the number of questions.
Is there a specific task or issue you think that Mindshare should address in the next year?
Thinking about that one, this is IMHO a question that should be answered by anyone by filing a ticket here. I guess it would be nicer to phrase it more personally:
What would you like to contribute to the Mindshare committee during your term?
Then candidates can still tell if there is anything regarding visibility that they would like to address. Or they can tell whatever else is important from their point of view.
+1 for What would you like to contribute to the Mindshare committee during your term?
and +1 for just add this change, I think the final questions set can be:

If we don't find the awareness question useful this time, I think we can remove it for the next round. At this time, I have hope that it will provide some insight into the approach of each candidate. We have one ticket open wrt awareness [0] but it hasn't gone very far yet. We also focused our efforts at Nest with Fedora to promote awareness, and I have started to promote the recording when appropriate.
