#274 Fedora emerging editions in Fedora Organization Chart
Closed: Complete 2 years ago by riecatnor. Opened 2 years ago by siosm.

First of all, thanks for making such a great organization chart!

Now the request : We have Editions (Workstation, Server & IoT), Emerging editions (CoreOS & Silverblue) and Spins (all the other). As listed on https://getfedora.org/.

Unfortunately right now CoreOS is placed into the Editions and Silverblue into the Spins and we don't have an Emerging editions category.

Thanks!

KDE & Kinoite should also probably be as close to one another as possible as they are really close siblings.

Hi @siosm thanks for the suggestion. The mindshare committee reviewed this today and we agree it can be better defined. I will update the chart and upload here for review

Looks good but I would have preferred that the KDE and Kinoite Spin be as close to one another as possible.

Maybe the Editions circles should have the same size to avoid emphasizing one over another when it is only bigger because of the longer text. This is less of a problem for Spins.

Thanks for the update!

@siosm moving those closer was an easyfix, my oops missing it the first time around, see below. I debated heavily on making all the circles the same size or adjusting them for the text (which for the bubbles is all the same size), and design wise with this scheme/composition, adjusting the bubble size based on the text was a better solution. I am not opposed to the circles being uniform, it would just need to be done for the entire design, which would result in a complete overhaul.
