#22 liberation sans italic character middle dot (0xB7)
Closed 5 years ago Opened 5 years ago by adama.

(OLDER VERSION ONLY)

This character does not render. For Reg, Bold, and Bold & Italic, it renders correctly.
The glyph_index for 0xB7 is 121.
In the loca [121 * 4], and loca[121 * 4 + 4] are equal.

I've tried it with Windows Font Engine, stb_truetype.
If you are using stb_truetype: stbtt__GetGlyfOffset is the function.

Thank you,
Adam

I think the liberation sans italic is just missing the 'middle dot' character.

Hi @adama, sorry for the late comment.
I am not able to reproduce this issue in liberation 2.00.3 on linux box (fedora 28), can you please share the screenshot and/or some more detailed description for the above bug.

Also, we have moved our upstream to https://github.com/liberationfonts so it would be great if we take this discussion there.

Thanks

Sorry, it isn't a problem with the lastest font.
I'm closing this,
Thanks!
