Closed: Fixed 4 years ago by tkopecek. Opened 4 years ago by tkopecek.

higher score means higher priority, but we're picking the tags in reverse order instead.

I'm not sure to understand this issue.
Isn't that something that worked that way from the beginning ? or is it a recent regression ?

I've always assumed "lower" numbers means higher priority. Either it was weird of not, it was the current convention. I might have to rework my whole priority and setup if such change is.
This is going to break the full whole of koji instances using external-repos with a given priority.

@kwizart this is only about kojira, so your case is not related here.

Well, I don't see the point of only been kojira. "higher score means higher priority" is a wrong assumption to me. Or at least it has to come from somewhere (Documentation).

@kwizart - wording is maybe odd here. Priority here means which repositoreis get regenerated first by kojira. It is only internal variable with some heuristics how often is repo used, how long it is expired, etc. It has nothing to do with how priority works in tag setup, etc. So, it doesn't change anything for you (except better repo regeneration during createrepo spikes).
