We tried to run an IRC meeting in #design:fedoraproject.org but zodbot doesn't work in there. There is a matrix zodbot at @zodbot:fedora.im that allows us to invite to the channel and it stays, but doesn't respond to commands in channel or in PM.
There is also a Libera zodbot at @zodbit:libera.chat - we tried inviting it as this is the one that works for the Mindshare meetings in their matrix room, but it joins then instantly parts when doing this.
I believe the issue is that it appears the Fedora Design room is not bridged to Libera. Our main issue is that we'll need zodbot in the room to be able to take meeting minutes. If bridging Libera resolves this, it would be fine. Let me know what you think could be a good solution.

yes, this is @ryanlerch testing out a matrix native bot, but it's got a long way to go before it's useful. I think perhaps he should have used another name to avoid confusion...
It shows as being joined to the channel from what I can see here...
It does appear bridged to me, but oddly, it sees 89 people on matrix side and like 45 or so on the irc side? Thats very weird.
Ah, after exporting the history I could see that @nb added zodbot in... it wasn't there before. So, meetings should work.
I am not sure about why the matrix and irc sides are showing different amounts of people tho.
So, can you try a test meeting and confirm it's working now?
