seems my ticket was borked.
Missing any tui or gui functionality ootb for file managers or non tarball archives. I suggest midnight commander and or thunar/nautilus and any zip fucntionality tool even just a simply unzip would suffice.
You put the text on comments The email is readable:
No way of using a file manager in tui or gui fashion, also no zip extractor of any kind.
Upon trying a raw build from the repo on 1/23/2021 I noticed there was an absence of even midnight commander for moving files or any tool for extracting .zip o similar files, I was expecting Xarchiver or similar and nothing was available.
Requesting either a tui or gui not neccessarily both given this is i3, for both archives (non tarball) and a proper file manager, I suggest Midnight commander if the project wishes to limit the gui aspect, if not consider thunar or nautilus.
One sentence to describe what the end result will be once this ticket is complete.
Also, we were discussing this in our last meeting, we are thinking on thunar, or pacmanFM, we will let you know when is ready, thanks for the feedback.

@x3mboy I do not see thunar in any of our kickstart files in the rawhide branch. We still need to add it to the fedora-comps i3-extended package group, right?
