= phenomenon =
Fedora 21 is going to release today. Its time to start thinking for Fedora 22 changes either systemwide or Self Contained.

https://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/devel-announce/2014-December/001471.html

  • Parag to add change proposal for dnf-langpacks feature
  • Pravin to add self contained change for Lohit2 releases of Telugu, Oriya and Kannada.
  • Thinking for glibc unicode 7.0 update.

ibus tentative bug fixes:
- Use language icons instead of layout icons for xkb ibus engines on non-gnome panel.
- Preload ibus engines on gnome desktop to reduce the launching time when users switch the engines.
- Disable IME on gnome-shell lock screen by panel instead of ibus engines.
- Fix a kde5 Korean issue.

As suggested by Tagoh, we will create bugs/RFE for ibus changes and add them as a good-to-test in testing event rather than proposing Change for F22.

Only looks problem with Changes/Lohit2_Odia_Telugu other all planned changes are in good shape for Alpha Freeze which is happening on 24th Feb.

All tracker bugs are now in ON_QA state.

Docs beat reviewed for all planned changes.

Presently only pending thing is:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/1209460 is blocker for "New Default Console Font"

"New Default Console Font" change implemented. Bug https://bugzilla.redhat.com/1209460 is add-on on the change proposal. i.e. using langtable to select font for all.

We had excellent Fedora 22 release from i18n perspective. Thanks for all changes. Closing ticket now.
