#123 Content for infographic to highlight accomplishments of Globalization team!
Closed: Insufficient data 3 years ago by pnemade. Opened 3 years ago by smeragoel.

As a thank you for all the efforts you guys put in coordinating and supporting the community in Internationalization, Localization, Zanata and FLTG area to provide effective workflow on Globalization, the design team is working on a set of infographics to highlight the accomplishments of all the people who worked and contributed to Fedora in the past year.

For this, we request you to share accomplishments, stories, metrics etc. of individuals and/or teams in your group! It can be anything like number of languages supported, languages newly translated in the past year, number of translation commits.

Only active: Internationalization, Localization
globalization concept isn't active for years
Zanata never was a group of Fedora
FLTG / Fedora Language Testing group is inactive for many years now

you should probably write to i18n and trans mailing lists to get answers

@smeragoel This i18n project tracker is related to Internationalization group only. So we can provide only information related to i18n. There is no active Globalization group anymore so you need to ask Internationalization and Localization groups separately.

I will add some i18n achievement points here this week. Thank you for opening this ticket for i18n here.

@jibecfed thanks for informing! I'll do the needful :)
@pnemade thank you for helping out!

    • Unicode 12.1.0 and 13.0.0 support added in Fedora.
  • Langpacks:
    • Improved langpacks support in Fedora by introducing more subpackages like default font per language and default i18n support per language.
    • Auto installation of langpacks started using gnome-software in Fedora.
  • Transtats:
    • Some features have been added to transtats like better representation of statistics, weblate support, improved graph rule and coverage report.

Thank you @pnemade! This is super helpful :D

Thank you @smeragoel for such nice infographic. I really liked it :)

Looks fantastic, thank you

Small typo in the "Testdays" box I think: "L18n" (not sure about the l18n there too).

Thank you for doing this!

Well we did not get any response from @smeragoel
I think let's close this ticket then.
