Currently, the repository has an extra level of heirarchy - the proxy directory - that is not reflected in the dist tarballs. This means that patches from the repository cannot be applied to the tarballs directly (need to pass -p2 to patch(1)).

Fixed by history rewrite; new master is 79d56b6b0cbe2c6311f53c6e387a6d674e216214
