Yeah, WDYT @lholecek - does it need a additional or modified test?

This is the nice thing about the functional tests... we can do refactoring like this and the functional tests remain unchanged, proving that everything still works.

I don't think we need any extra tests which try to prove there are only 2 requests instead of 1+N requests going to Waiverdb or anything like that.
