#578 Update the base container of greenwave?
Closed: Fixed by lholecek. Opened by pingou.

While reporting a fedora-messaging issue upstream at: https://github.com/fedora-infra/fedora-messaging/issues/221 I went to check which OS greenwave is running on and rpm -q fedora-messaging returned me fedora-messaging-1.7.1-1.fc29.noarch.

So if I read this correctly, this is a F29 base image. F29 has been EOL for some time now, so it would probably be a good idea to upgrade that base OS to something up to date :)

Thanks!

Internally, we use more recent image based on Fedora 31 containing Greenwave 1.5.5.

https://greenwave.fedoraproject.org/api/v1.0/about says there is Greenwave 1.4.1.

Can you update to a newer image?

How can we help to keep the image up-to-date in the future?

@vmaljulin I've reopened the issue because F31 is now unsupported. We need to update the image to use F33 or F32 base image.

Closing. This has been already fixed.
