we have many groups related to localization
gitman-pages-l10n: it is not related to localization team Details: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/g11n@lists.fedoraproject.org/message/ET27QCL6UOEPNYGNZ44XA7H7QBQMNQKC/
cvsl10n, l10n-commits, l10n-admin, l10n-editor: all related to the localization team, can be merged. Details: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/g11n@lists.fedoraproject.org/message/CQBSQADXCBCIRGDRWD6CTFO6A76URB5Y/
So, we have all information about the past to move forward and create a new structure.
To know what FAS can do, I asked a few questions to infra team: https://github.com/fedora-infra/fas/issues/204
once they answer, we'll be able to create an appropriate fas group structure.
+1 Since no owner of the groups has been replied and also we know these groups are inactive and were created mostly for Transifex.
Lets close l10n-commits, l10n-editors and l10n-admin as well.
I think we can use l10n-admin more meaning full - may be only for coordinators? or something.
What was decision for gitman-pages-l10n?
deletion request sent to infrastructure team: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/issue/6319
I asked the infrastructure team about the renaming of cvsl10n to l10n. It is not possible to do so, they suggest to remove every user and move them to a new one. https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/issue/6320
As we also have the cleanup (#37) to do, I think we can do both operation at the same time. Any objection?
This looks good. I hope, we can subscribe members in bulk for these group. Can infrastructure team do this subscription stuff, while creating new group itself?
