What will you accomplish by being at FUDCon? (Please be as specific as possible, since this is the most important factor in granting requests.)

Will be giving a talk titled "Selling" Open Source 101, which will be covering business models, processes, and structure on how to start your own Open Source business.

As a cardholder I can also help with expenses if needed.

If you are requesting airfare, include complete flight information such as flight numbers, desired departure and arrival airports, and times. Also let us know if you have specific time restrictions.

TBC .. currently Orbitz gives one suggestion to take KUL-Delhi-Pune, but if KUL-Mumbai and going to Pune with taxi is cheaper, then i'll take that.

Do you need a visa or other official processing before you can attend FUDCon? If so, approximately how long does that processing take?

Yes, 2 weeks iirc

I'm a cardholder, should be able to buy the ticket myself .. or is there a specific designated cardholder for this event?

will need to know who should I report the expenses to, considering FUDCon budget is separate from APAC budget.

The cheapest ticket for KUL-Mumbai I can find is $326 and there are multiple options well below $500. That is what we'll consider since we'll arrange a cab to pick you up from Mumbai.

Nah, Ruth mentioned that she was OK with using your card too. We will discuss travel tickets (including yours) in our meeting on 5th May at 09:30 UTC.

Hello Izhar,

We are pleased to inform you that, your request has been accepted for a maximum of $400 + stay.[1] Stay is provided on the twin sharing basis for the duration of the conference, ie. check-in on 25th June and check-out on 29th June. Expenses for any other days shall be levied on the occupant(you). In case, you need a room for yourself, you'd need to bear half of the room fare.

Please go ahead and book your tickets and attach it to this request too. We will reimburse the same after the conference. Please ensure to retain your boarding passes, as we will need those for reimbursement.

If you need an invitation & introduction cover letter for Visa purposes, please send in the following details to me(pjp@...) via email with "FUDCon visa letter" as Subject line.

Full Name as it appears in passport
Passport number
Country of Citizenship
Arrival date in destination city
Departure date from destination city
Purpose of travel
Current work location
Job title
Any other information required in the letter as advised by the travel agent/visa processing vendor

Just to remind you, please book your tickets in time and attach them here for later reimbursement purposes. Confirmed itinerary(timings) will help us in planning cab pick-ups from Mumbai to Pune, if required.
