#53 Put an ad in the ASU student newspaper for FUDCon Tempe

Order of operations:

  • Find out advertising rates in the paper, days it's published, and physical requirements
  • Figure out when we want to run the ads
  • Get Design to make up the ad
  • Have jsmith or stickster send and pay

I don't think there was any report on this item. rbergeron tells us there's a Jan. 27 student paper, but personally I believe running one ad, two days before the event, is ineffective and probably not worth the money. Does anyone have an opinion on this?

I have the opinion that we're too late here - and I think it probably wouldn't have been as effective unless we had run it for several weeks prior.
