Closed: Fixed None Opened 10 years ago by valentinbasel.

Please set the "Component" below to the correct event for your request.

Tell us the following:

Hotel + Travel

  • What do you need covered? (Please estimate the costs in USD: hotel $X, travel $Y.)

Travel = aprox us$750

  • If we cannot provide a full subsidy, will a partial subsidy be helpful? (Yes/No?)

YES

  • If Yes, specify the minimum amount you need covered to facilitate your attendance.

  • What will you accomplish by being at FUDCon? (Please be as specific as possible, since this is the most important factor in granting requests.)

Quiero participar del evento de fudcon para mostrar el desarrollo del proyecto de robotica educativa ICARO, patrocinado por la comunidad de fedora y en los repositorios oficiales.
La idea es poder dar un workshop de programacion de robotica en la universidad.

  • If you are requesting airfare, include complete flight information such as flight numbers, desired departure and arrival airports, and times. Also let us know if you have specific time restrictions.

  • Do you need a visa or other official processing before you can attend FUDCon? If so, approximately how long does that processing take?

  • Include any additional, relevant information.

Your link above says you are going to Cuzco on September 26 and returning on October 30th - I am guessing you mean October 30th?

Also: In the flights spreadsheet your flight to Cuzco is listed as September 22nd, and your flight return date is listed as October 1st.

Which one of these is correct?

To save some time for the next set of questions - can you take a screenshot of which flights you are looking at?

Hi Robyn the proper date is 22nd
and return October 01st.

attached a screenshot of the page "vayama.com" to facilitate the purchase

best regards!!!

:-D

Hi Valentin,

Would you be willing to take a longer flight on the way home? It's mostly a 9 hour layover in Santiago, but it would be during the day at least so perhaps there might be something to do to make it less boring (I have no idea if there is anything to do nearby)

It would be $840 instead of $1719 (almost a $900 difference) and lots of other folks are taking longer duration flights as well.

Screenshot attached of the schedule.

Robyn, that is perfect, there is no problem in waiting in chile:-D.

You can buy this passage

p.d: sorry for my english

This has been purchased, and the information is on its way to Valentin now.
