Tell us the following:

  • What do you need covered? (Please estimate the costs in USD: hotel $X, travel $Y)

Total cost: 375 USD for flights + I will need hotel accommodation in KL.

  • If Yes, specify the minimum amount you need covered to facilitate your attendance.

  • What will you accomplish by being at FUDCon? (Please be as specific as possible, since this is the most important factor in granting requests.)

  • Recruiting more developers for Darkserver (http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Darkserver ).

  • Fixing the release plan for next major release plan of Darkserver.
  • Meeting with APAC mentors and decide on how to look ahead in Ambassador program. As the project became so large, how that affects this subproject and future goals specific to countries.
  • I am giving a talk on Darkserver project and also doing python workshops.

  • Finding translators for the python book "Python for you and me", it is hosted on Fedorahosted and translated through transifex.

  • If you are requesting airfare, include complete flight information such as flight numbers, desired departure and arrival airports, and times. Also let us know if you have specific time restrictions.

I live in Pune, India. Nearest international airport is Mumbai but cheaper flights to KL are available from Chennai only. For international flights I searched in airasia.com and for within India I looked into cleartrip.com

  • Do you need a visa or other official processing before you can attend FUDCon? If so, approximately how long does that processing take?

I need a visa, it takes around two weeks to get it here. I will need an invitation from the organizers and also the flight tickets for the visa application.

There will be a "Funding Approval Meeting" on Friday March 23rd, 2012 at 14:00 UTC (#fudcon-planning). Please, do attend the meeting as we might have some questions for you before approving your funding.

I will be travelling today evening, so I will not be able to attend the meeting. If there are any queries, you can paste them here.

From yesterday's "Funding Approval Meeting", your funding has been approved. Would you prefer harish buying the flight ticket or prefer getting a reimbursement for it (as flight ticket pricing fluctuates and buying it yourself can get it at a lower price)?

If you prefer the former, to process your flight ticket, we need a few personal details from you.

  • Full Name (as in Passport)
  • Surname (as in Passport)
  • Passport number
  • Nationality
  • Date of Birth (DD/MM/YY)
  • Issuing Country
  • Passport expiration date (DD/MM/YY)
  • Origin Airport
  • Fly in date
