Tell us the following:

What do you need covered? Travel $550 USD and hotel (conference share rate)
If we cannot provide a full subsidy, will a partial subsidy be helpful? (Yes)
If Yes, specify the minimum amount you need covered to facilitate your attendance.
As much as possible to assist but it would need to be likely around 2/3 as its all a bit tight ATM.
What will you accomplish by being at FUDCon?
Face to face with board
Discussions and hackfests with ARM and other Secondary archs
Discussions and hackfests with Cloud teams
talks with various core fedora (systemd/xorg) and desktop teams for Fedora Mobility and various ARM, OLPC, Sugar and other small device requirements
If you are requesting airfare, include complete flight information such as flight numbers, desired departure and arrival airports, and times. Also let us know if you have specific time restrictions.

Time restrictions based on work holiday allowance

Do you need a visa or other official processing before you can attend FUDCon? If so, approximately how long does that processing take?

No, Australian nationality with standard ETSA online registration

Include any additional, relevant information.

Its possible OLPC might fund me if they decide to use FUDCon as a major meetup for their team as I've been assisting them with ARM bringup on the XO 1.75. I'm still awaiting a response/decisions on that.

Hi Peter

We plan to consider the international requests at the Nov. 23 meeting. Any chance we might know about the OLPC funding before then? Of course it would help us provide help to someone else if that came through but I'd also just like to avoid not knowing if they are likely to help when your ticket comes up for consideration. Any additional information would be great if it is available by early next week. Thanks.

Hi Peter,

Your request was granted at the 2011-11-23 fudcon subsidy meeting. Of course, if OLPC winds up funding you, we'd love to know that as well, I'm sure we can figure something out.

I'd like to get your airfare booked in the meantime.

Please confirm your flight info above, and let me know the airline, flight numbers, arrival/departure dates/times.

I'll also need your Full name, date of birth, address, and passport number. Feel free to send that to me in a private email.

Ticket was purchased. Total was $744.10 (a bit over, but we'll live - we came in very close overall with all the tickets.)
