https://github.com/freeipa/freeipa/blob/master/doc/designs/expired_certificate_pruning.md at CLI section enable and disable operation is mentioned as:
ipa-acme-manage pruning --enable=TRUE and ipa-acme-manage pruning --enable=FALSE
where as when you run command it can be done using
ipa-acme-manage pruning --enable and ipa-acme-manage pruning --disable
