Ticket was cloned from Red Hat Bugzilla (product Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8): Bug 2108630
Created attachment 1898122 Add a reverse zone Description of problem: When adding a reverse dns zone the following message appears 'idnssoaserial' option is deprecated. Value will be ignored. The same behaviour is observed in cli when `--name-from-ip` is provided. The message should be deleted because there is not any option to set the parameter in the web ui, and does not have sense to provide a warning about that Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 8.X How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Network Services → DNS → DNS Zones -> Add DNS Zone -> Reverse zone IP network Actual results: The message appears 'idnssoaserial' option is deprecated. Value will be ignored Expected results: Don't show the message Additional info:
