#8293 Nightly tests failure in rawhide in dbus-send
Closed: worksforme 2 months ago by frenaud. Opened 3 months ago by frenaud.

The nightly tests for rawhide failed in calls to dbus-send. See PR 4585, for instance tests:
- test_commands: logs
- test_idviews: logs

The logs show:

[ipatests.pytest_ipa.integration.host.Host.master.IPAOpenSSHTransport] RUN ['dbus-send', '--print-reply', '--system', '--dest=org.freedesktop.sssd.infopipe', '/org/freedesktop/sssd/infopipe/Users', 'org.freedesktop.sssd.infopipe.Users.FindByName', 'string:admin']
[ipatests.pytest_ipa.integration.host.Host.master.cmd243] RUN ['dbus-send', '--print-reply', '--system', '--dest=org.freedesktop.sssd.infopipe', '/org/freedesktop/sssd/infopipe/Users', 'org.freedesktop.sssd.infopipe.Users.FindByName', 'string:admin']
[ipatests.pytest_ipa.integration.host.Host.master.cmd243] dbus-send: symbol lookup error: /lib64/libgcrypt.so.20: undefined symbol: dlopen
[ipatests.pytest_ipa.integration.host.Host.master.cmd243] Exit code: 127
ipa: ERROR: stderr: dbus-send: symbol lookup error: /lib64/libgcrypt.so.20: undefined symbol: dlopen

Tomas has taken care of the issue already:

# rpm -q --changelog libgcrypt
* Thu Apr 23 2020 Tomáš Mráz <tmraz@redhat.com> 1.8.5-6
- Fix regression - missing -ldl linkage

libgcrypt has been updated to libgcrypt-1.8.5-6.fc33.x86_64 in rawhide and the issue doesn't happen anymore, see PR 4629, hence closing.
