When DNS is requested during an ipa-server-install, if 'ipa-server-dns' isn't installed, the installation will bail out like so:
ipa-server-install
ipapython.admintool: ERROR Integrated DNS requires 'ipa-server-dns' package ipapython.admintool: ERROR The ipa-server-install command failed. See /var/log/ipaserver-install.log for more information
So two things:
I'd like this check to be earlier - at the time when DNS is requested, if we're running interactively. This saves admins from having to type in all their passwords and configurations only to have the installation fail.
IPA knows what package needs to be installed here. Maybe it could (prompt to) install the package? (And then continue the server installation if all goes well.)
