#736 ipa-dns-install does not exit on error
Closed: Fixed None Opened 13 years ago by dpal.

Using the existing IPA installation (beta) without DNS tried to add DNS after. But since network manager updated the hosts file again I got an error. This error should have lead to exit but it did not.

[root@lenovo yum.repos.d]# ipa-dns-install --no-forwarders

The log file for this installation can be found in /var/log/ipaserver-install.log
==============================================================================
This program will setup DNS for the FreeIPA Server.

This includes:
  * Configure DNS (bind)

To accept the default shown in brackets, press the Enter key.

Existing BIND configuration detected, overwrite? [no]: yes
The hostname resolves to the localhost address (127.0.0.1/::1)
Please change your /etc/hosts file so that the hostname
resolves to the ip address of your network interface.

Please fix your /etc/hosts file and restart the setup program
Please provide the IP address to be used for this host name:

There are two issues:
- There is no period at the end of the line: "Please fix your /etc/hosts file ..."
- The script should have exited there. Instead it prompted me.
