IPA relies on some of 389-ds plugins to work properly, but these plugins may have been manually disabled (when nsslapd-pluginEnabled: off). It would be nice if IPA could provide a user interface checking that all the required plugins are properly enabled.
This issue is linked to BZ https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1514095 and issue 7271. 7271 should make sure that install or upgrade enables all the required plugins, and this issue is related to providing a tool allowing to check the proper configuration of plugins, that would be launched manually on an already installed system.
