IPA does not automatically enable the 389-ds plugins it needs to function properly. For instance, IPA needs the Managed Entries plugin. This plugin used to be enabled during 389-ds installation, but this was changed recently in 389-ds code, and IPA installer was not updated accordingly, as IPA installer relied on the default configuration of 389-ds.
This issue could happen for any plugin required by IPA. We need to identify all the 389-ds plugins required by IPA and make sure that they are always enabled, even in case 389-ds changes the set of plugins enabled by default.
