In case that there is no responding forwarder configured in /etc/resolv.conf bindinstance.get_auto_reverse_zones() instead of returning an error "Failed to verify ...", returns "Reverse zone X for IP address Y already exists"
bindinstance.get_auto_reverse_zones()
However, in case that check if zones exists failed, we should just log warning and continue. This is for isolated environments without access to public DNS.
