Ticket was cloned from Red Hat Bugzilla (product Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7): Bug 1445374
Description of problem: When an IdM client is uninstalled using "ipa-client-install --uninstall", there are a few "leftovers" on the system (sssd logs and caches). This might lead to unexpected behavior later on. Since this request requires ipa-client to remove files belonging to the sssd component, we might want to introduce an additional option in case those files should be removed as part of the uninstall process instead of making the system clean-up the default behavior. Something like "ipa-client-install --uninstall --clean". Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): ipa-client-4.4 How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Additional info:
