#6720 Enable users to find out what the Kerberos ticket policy defaults are
Opened 7 years ago by pvoborni. Modified 7 years ago

Ticket was cloned from Red Hat Bugzilla (product Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7): Bug 1422462

Description of problem:
When users consider resetting the Kerberos ticket policy to the default values
(ipa krbtpolicy-reset), there is no quick and easy way for them to find out
what the defaults are.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Change max renew, max life, or both to a custom value.
2. After some time, decide to return to the defaults.
3. Try to remember what the defaults were and if they really suit you.

Actual results:

Expected results:
The output of ipa krbtpolicy-reset --help could show the global default values.

In the web UI, the defaults could be displayed under Policy > Kerberos Ticket
Policy. But since it's not possible to reset the policy in the UI, this might
not be necessary.
