It would be very beneficial to provide UI and CLI to automate dellegating group membership managment to a grroup owner and allow the group owner to delegate additional people to manage the group.

The managed-by attribute could be used to regulate who can manage memberships.

If a strong ownership model is warrented another attribute could be used to identify the group owner, and allow only the woner to add remove people from the managed-by attribute.

Allowing users to manage their own groups allow o reduce administrative load and makes the system more flexible giving small project groups more autonomy.
