Ticket was cloned from Red Hat Bugzilla (product Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7): Bug 1277109
Description of problem: The following buttons in the IPA UI sometimes do the same thing from users' perspective: Revert, Refresh, Undo, Undo All Currently, no description is available to help the users understand what the buttons do and how they differ from each other. Steps to Reproduce: For example: 1. Go to Network Services > DNS > DNS Global Configuration and add a forwarder. 2. Click the four buttons - they will all do the same thing: remove the new forwarder Expected results: Adding tool tips with some information about the buttons' purpose would help prevent users' confusion. For example: Refresh - Reload current settings from the server Revert - Undo all unsaved changes Undo - Undo this change Undo all - ??? Additional info: It might actually be helpful to remove some of the buttons completely. Too many undo/revert buttons can be somewhat confusing.
