(1)Design page needs updation as per latests changes done to ipa-backup/restore tool, help text, man page. (Already pointed this in the mail sent for review request of test cases) (2)Section of backup/restore using ldap tools (db2bak, bak2db) if not needed now, should be removed from design page (3)In Test Plan section, "Test Full Backup and Restore" section is missing "Install IPA again" step after "Uninstall server " step. Similar case for other two "Test" sections. (4)Following test cases can also be added in the Test Plan section - Data backup only - Online data restore - Encryption/decryption of Backup files - Client/Replica installation with restored Master
Done.
This section is absolutely needed to provide the understanding on the tools used to actually perform the backup.
It is not missing. No re-install is necessary.
I also added sections on instances and backends and a tip on how to generate the GPG keys needed.
