This ticket is an umbrella ticket for several different use cases:
a. Provide a way for IPA UI/CLI to scan and detect OpenLMI enabled systems that can be enrolled with IPA using OpenLMI realmd provider. b. Expose in IPA UI and CLI capability to enroll an OpenLMI enabled client as described in the article.
This ticket will be forked into smaller tickets when the work would start.
The OpenLMI integration was deferred, we choose not to implement it until there is real demand or community contribution.
Deferred bucket will be better suited - we found the OpenLMI approach lacking especially in the containers use cases, where OpenLMI service is not typically running.
