Description of problem: When adding a self service permission name in WebUI self service permissions page, it rejects adding utf-8 chars. Such as french letters ?? and chinese word ?? Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): ipa-server-3.0.0-20.el6.x86_64 ipa-server-3.0.0-20.el6.i386 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1.in WebUI ,go to IPA Server -Self Service Permissions 2.click Add 3.type in ?? ,click Add Actual results: error prompt "May only contain letters,numbers , _, -, . and $" Expected results: self service permission add successfully. Note that this is not specific to the Web UI.
Downstream bug was fixed, I do not think this is something we want to fix unless we see higher demand. Moving to Deferred.
