Currently the DNA plugin cannot reconfigured itself based in the local ranges. So we have to modify the DNA plugin configuration to match with the new range. This needs to be updated in the ipa trust documentation.
As of now the online help says the following. It should also say that details about how to re-cofigure DNA plugin to match the new range can be found in the docs.
"Currently there is no connection between this range CLI and the DNA plugin, but a future version might be able to modify the configuration of the DNA plugin as well"
Restrict making changes to the ranges and DNA plugin configuration to get out of the big range. Restrict ID range of commands to make change only inside the predefined DNA range. Man pages should be updates appropriately.
The main IPA range should be immutable. You shouldn't be able to modify the range or delete it. I think that adding new non-trust ranges is undefined.
