Tracking ticket to make sure we have the right dependencies in 3.1
We want to transition from tomcat6 to tomcat7 in Fedora. By depending on tomcat6 freeipa-server it is successfully blocking the mentioned transition. The following is the list of freeipa-server dependencies affecting the transition (the list is not guarranteed to be complete): Requires: tomcat6 >= 6.0.32-17 BuildRequires: tomcat6 >= 6.0.32-17 Pleasee update freeipa-server to use tomcat7 instead of tomcat6. Thank you.
This was completed in the IPA 3.0.0 GA switch to use dogtag 10.
I believe we just need to drop the explicit tomcat requirements from our spec file, confirming with CS team.
I will do this change in one blow when adding dogtag10 Requires.
Note that tomcat6 brings in tar for us; #3237 needs to be fixed at the same time as this.

Good point. I will have both #2748 and #3237 in one patch.
Btw I see that correct tomcat version is required by pki-server:
pki-server
# rpm -q pki-server pki-server-10.0.0-0.52.b3.fc18.noarch # rpm -qR pki-server | grep tomcat tomcat >= 7.0.27 tomcatjss >= 7.0.0-3
Fixed in a scope of 3.0.x release - does not depend on single dogtag10 database.
